Xiaomi has officially announced HyperOS 3. It is a Chinese release, and hence, the rollout will be limited to Chinese ROM users. There’s no news about a global release, but we expect to learn more about that soon. Additionally, all the HyperOS 3 features that will be available for international models.
After so much waiting, Xiaomi has officially unveiled HyperOS 3. It doesn’t seem to bring many user-facing changes, as the company is focusing on optimization and performance. The banner published in the company’s Weibo account before the unveiling mentioned “smoothness,” and it seems right with the HyperOS 3 features announced so far.

Xiaomi HyperOS 3 will start rolling out to eligible beta testers later today. The update does not bring many changes, but optimizes performance for a smooth experience. As expected, XiaoAI seems to get the most improvement as smartphone companies are moving towards AI for most of their heavy lifting.
Xiaomi has added new functions to its AI capabilities. We understand that translation with XiaoAI now supports subtitles in over 29 languages. Additionally, dynamic wallpapers can now be generated using AI, thanks to the upgraded AI functionality. Perhaps it will improve users’ experience, make communication smoother, and multitasking.
Nevertheless, there have been some improvements to the Gallery App, Messaging app, new ways to lock your Xiaomi phone, and Shift Alarm clock.

Xiaomi HyperOS 3 for Tablets
Xiaomi is bringing changes to Tablets with HyperOS 3. The update introduces an optimized split-screen experience with adjustable app ratios. Also, browser layouts have been enhanced, while features like calendar week view, horoscope integration, and back-tap recording have all made it to Xiaomi Tablets with HyperOS 3.
So far, only beta testers are getting the update. If your registration was successful, you will receive a beta build to preview the update ahead of a stable release. Unfortunately, only Chinese ROM users can participate in the program, with international rollout yet to be communicated.
