Samsung released the first One UI 8 Beta update to the Galaxy S25 a few months ago. They opened up the beta preview to more phones recently, with the Galaxy S24 series receiving the build last month. September is when more units were expecting the rollout, and as anticipated, the Galaxy S23 One UI 8 Beta update is now available in multiple regions.
Galaxy S23 One UI 8 Beta update is live in multiple regions. While those in India started reporting the rollout, we understand Korean users have started getting the upgrade. As usual, you must register for the beta program before you can receive an OTA for the upgrade. Fortunately, it does not take minutes to complete your registration.

Details of Galaxy S23 One UI 8 Beta update
The update is available in India and South Korea at the time of this report. We expect an expansion to other regions in the coming hours, with those in the US, the UK, Germany, and maybe Poland expected to be part of the beta preview.
Meanwhile, the Galaxy S23 One UI 8 Beta update has a firmware version S918BXXU8ZYHB. It is the Indian build, and the update size is about 3.1GB. In Korea, the update is seeding with a software version S918NKSU6ZYHB and weighs 3.2GB. Unfortunately, we do not have the complete changes, but we anticipate a few AI-powered features.
Only eligible users can receive the upgrade, but you’ll become eligible once you register for the One UI 8 Beta program. To do this, open the Samsung Members app, sign in with your account, and tap the One UI 8 Beta banner on the home screen. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your registration.
Once registered, head to Settings > System updates > Download and install to begin the upgrade. Make sure to back up your files beforehand, as Beta builds aren’t designed for daily use and may contain bugs or glitches.
