Samsung has begun rolling out the stable Galaxy A56 Android 16-based One UI 8 update in Europe. The rollout has only started in Korea a few hours ago, and we were hoping it would take days before arriving in Europe. Surprisingly, the upgrade is now available for people in the region.
We can say Samsung is not following the official One UI 8 rollout schedule. Therefore, you should always check if your eligible Samsung phone is compatible with the stable One UI 8 update. Meanwhile, if you are using the Galaxy A56 unit in Europe, the much-anticipated upgrade might have arrived for your device.

Details of the stable Galaxy A56 Android 16-based One UI 8 update.
Samsung is rolling out a stable One UI 8 update in Europe for the Galaxy A56 with a firmware version A566BXXU6BYI5. The update size is 2,448.18MB. As expected, it brings new changes to the UI elements, enhanced accessibility, camera, connectivity, multi-tasking, privacy and security, and productivity experience.
Unfortunately, many of the AI-powered features that arrived with One UI 8 for premium phones are missing. Nevertheless, we recommend installing the update as it bumps the Android OS and the security patch level to enhance security and patch security vulnerabilities.
Head to Settings>System updates>Download and Install. Ensure to back up your important data before initiating the download, as this is a cross-section Android upgrade. It may take some time for system apps to adapt to the new OS.
