Samsung has begun rolling out the Android 16-based One UI 8 update for the Galaxy A25. The rollout is currently limited to users in Europe, but wider availability is expected in the coming days.

Originally launched in 2023 with Android 14, the Galaxy A25 is eligible for four major OS upgrades. With the Android 16 update now live, the device still has two more updates to go. The rollout starts in Europe under firmware version A256BXXU8DYI8 and includes all the expected One UI 8 enhancements along with the latest security patch. Samsung plans to extend the release to more regions soon, provided no major bugs surface during the initial rollout.
To check for the update, navigate to Settings > Software update > Download and install. Ensure to backup your important files before installing the update.
