First released in Korea, Samsung has begun rolling out the Galaxy A54 stable One UI 8 update in Europe. It is a limited release to allow a select few to preview the build and ensure there are no major issues. And since we have not heard any serious bugs, we expect wider availability in the coming days.

Samsung released the Galaxy A54 in 2023, running Android 13 with a promise of four Android OS upgrades. Stable Android 16 means the device is still eligible for one OS upgrade, which will arrive with One UI 9 next year. Nevertheless, you need to install the latest build while waiting for the next major upgrade.
Details of Galaxy A54 stable One UI 8 update
Samsung is rolling out a new stable update for the Galaxy A54 users in Europe. The much-anticipated Android 16-based One UI 8 update has a firmware version A546BXXUFEYI4 and weighs around 2,233MB.
As anticipated, the update brings new features, bug fixes, and optimizations. Additionally, the September 2025 security patch is part of the package to enhance security. Unfortunately, some of the AI-powered features, which arrived with the One UI 8 build, are missing, but we still recommend installing the upgrade.
Head to Settings> Software Update> Download and Install after backing up your important data to start the installation.
