Xiaomi was supposed to release the Redmi Note 14 Pro stable HyperOS 3 update last month. Unfortunately, that did not happen, meaning the rollout will commence this November. A new report shows the company is ready to start rolling out the much-anticipated upgrade, but only in select regions.
As always, major upgrades are first rolled out for select users for preview. These people are known as Mi Pilot members, and you can join using this link. Once successful, you will receive a new update before everyone else; however, you are always prone to bugs. Nevertheless, you can wait for a stable release, which starts a few weeks after the initial release.
Details of the Redmi Note 14 Pro stable HyperOS 3 update
Xiaomi has yet to commence the rollout, but the build is ready. A new internal build with a version number, OS3.0.1.5.WOOMIXM just popped up on the servers. It means the company has already attained a stable build and is already working on a new update. Hence, we expect the first Android 16-based HyperOS 3 rollout to commence soon.
However, only a few countries will receive the upgrade initially, as Xiaomi has been seen testing only the Global build. Other regions will obviously receive the upgrade, but after the global release. If you are running the global ROM and part of the Mi Pilot Members, you should be checking your Updater app for a new update.
Xiaomi has revamped the UI with HyperOS 3. The battery icon and Wi-Fi signal have been tweaked to keep an iOS vibe. Of course, animation is better, probably surpassing Apple, although HyperOS 3’s inspiration mainly came from iOS. The HyperIsland, a copy of the Dynamic Island on the iPhones, is available for select Xiaomi phones.
There are many reasons to install the update when prompted. The Security enhancements, bug fixes, optimizations, and others. Nevertheless, ensure to back up your important files before installing the HyperOS 3 update and any other upgrade.
