Samsung has rolled out early access to the One UI 8.5 beta, allowing users to preview the next major update ahead of its official release. One UI 8.5 will make its formal debut alongside the Galaxy S26 series, after which the stable version will begin rolling out to supported older devices. To give users a taste of what’s coming, Samsung has launched a limited beta program—though not all devices are eligible, and hence, the One UI 8.5 beta availability list.

Currently, early access to One UI 8.5 is restricted to select devices in a few regions. Even if your country supports the beta program, you’ll still need an eligible phone to participate. Samsung is expected to expand the program to more devices over the coming weeks.
Samsung One UI 8.5 Beta availability
At the moment, the One UI 8.5 beta is only available for the Galaxy S25 series, including the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. These three models are the only ones receiving the beta build ahead of the stable release. It remains unclear whether Samsung will extend beta access to older flagships such as the Galaxy S24 series.
As usual, the Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy S25 Edge are excluded from the beta program. Samsung typically skips beta testing for these models, and that trend appears unchanged. However, there is hope that Samsung may later include the Galaxy S24 lineup and possibly some mid-range Galaxy A-series phones.
