Samsung appears to be expanding its One UI 8.5 beta program beyond its latest flagship lineup, with new leaks suggesting that the Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy S24 FE could soon join the testing phase.
The company recently opened the beta program to the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7, signaling a broader rollout strategy. Now, fresh reports indicate that Samsung is preparing to include more devices — including its popular Fan Edition models — in the upcoming beta wave.

Samsung may extend beta program to Fan Edition devices
Traditionally, Samsung has limited its One UI beta programs to flagship Galaxy S series devices, rarely including Fan Edition (FE) models. However, that approach could be changing with One UI 8.5.
According to reliable tipster Tarun Vats, early firmware builds for both devices have already been spotted on Samsung’s servers. The reported build numbers are:
- Galaxy S25 FE: S731NKSU5ZZCB
- Galaxy S24 FE: S721NKSUAZZCB
While initial findings did not clearly confirm whether these were beta or stable builds, a newer leak suggests that they are indeed part of the beta testing phase. This strongly indicates that Samsung is actively preparing these devices for early access testing.
Galaxy S25 FE and Galaxy S24 FE One UI 8.5 rollout could begin soon
Further fueling speculation, Samsung has reportedly created beta program pages for both devices on its U.S. community forums. This typically happens shortly before the beta rollout begins, hinting that users may not have to wait long.
If the reports hold true, this move could also signal an imminent One UI 8.5 rollout for the broader Galaxy S24 series.
As usual, the beta program is expected to be limited to select regions initially, such as the United States and South Korea. Eligible users will likely see a banner in the Samsung Members app once registrations go live, allowing them to enroll in the program.
For now, Samsung has not officially confirmed the rollout timeline. However, with test builds already surfacing and beta pages going live, an announcement could arrive within days.
