It is the first day of April, and Samsung has just released the April 2026 security patch update. The Korean company has limited the release to its home country, but that could extend to other countries in the coming days.

Samsung Galaxy S26 series phones are now receiving the April 2026 security patch update. The rollout is exclusive to the latest S-series device in South Korea. As usual, it is rolling out in batches and may take some time before arriving for all eligible users. Meanwhile, you can check for the update manually via the settings app.
Details of Samsung’s April 2026 security patch update
Samsung is rolling out the latest security patch update for the Galaxy S26 series in Korea. The update is rolling with a version number ending with AZCL and weighs around 547 MB. Unfortunately, we do not know what has been patched or whether new features come with the update, as the latest security patch bulletin has yet to be released.
If you are a Galaxy S26, S26+, or S26 Ultra user and live in South Korea, you can check for the update. Remember, more people started receiving AirDrop on their devices after a new update. We recommend installing this new update if you have not received the support.
