Samsung has yet to announce when the stable One UI 8.5 update will begin rolling out, but the latest report suggests we might see the release this month. Of course, for the Galaxy S25 series, that would mean possible release to other phones currently testing the build, as a stable release means the beta program has been concluded.

Details of stable One UI 8.5 release date
According to Tarun Vats, stable One UI 8.5 is likely to start seeding for Galaxy S25 series phones on April 30th. The supposed rollout will commence in South Korea before expanding to other regions. Meanwhile, if the company follows last year’s release pattern, those in the US, UK, Europe, and Asia could start seeing the new update from May 4th.
If the stable One UI 8.5 release date is accurate, we will see the remaining two beta builds for the Galaxy S25 series in the coming days. We expect the Korean company to release both builds before the expected stable release date. That would also help confirm if the reports of the expected timeframe are true.
Nevertheless, we are optimistic that Samsung will finally commence the stable rollout this month. It has been months since the beta program, and we believe it is time to give stable users a taste of the new One UI. Ensure to follow our Telegram channel to be notified once the stable release starts.
