Samsung has yet to release the One UI 8.5 stable update for older Galaxy phones, but reports suggest we will see the rollout start later this month. Ahead of release, the Galaxy S24 One UI 8.5 stable build has been spotted on the company’s server and includes possible features.

Samsung has continued the One UI 8.5 Beta program, probably because it wants to start the stable release across the board. This means all eligible devices will likely start receiving the upgrade simultaneously, and the latest development suggests that is likely the case. Interestingly, we now have an idea of what the update will introduce to the Galaxy S24 series phones.
Galaxy S24 One UI 8.5 stable update will be coming with these AI-powered features
Early reports suggest most AI-powered features, which arrived with the Galaxy S26 series, will remain exclusive to the lineup. The company might have changed its mind as the Call Screening feature is now headed to the Galaxy S24 series.
As the name suggests, Call Screen uses AI to filter calls, answer, and ask the caller who they are and why they are calling. The conversation is always displayed on the screen, and you can decide to take over or switch to a text call.
Additionally, the Galaxy S24 stable One UI 8.5 will bring Photo Assist and Creative Studio. These features are taken directly from the Galaxy S26. It allows you to use the text field in the photo assistant to change, add, or remove things in images.
These are not all the features that will be introduced with One UI 8.5. It is interesting to see that Samsung has changed its mind about limiting the Call screening feature, Photo Assistant, and Creative Studio Galaxy S26 series. Hopefully, more features will be added when the update starts rolling out early next month, while the Galaxy S25 series will likely start receiving it later this month.
