It’s not often we hear that an Android Auto problem is getting a fix, especially a connection issue. Most problems reported by Android Auto users always revolve around connection, and it is good to see Google confirm that they are fixing it.

These past few weeks have seen many reports concerning connection problems affecting Android Auto users. According to reports, Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy phones are mostly affected. There had been reports from some that they needed to unlock their phone to start a connection with their car.
It is more frustrating as it affects both wired and wireless connections, perhaps why Google had to do something immediately.
The tech company has confirmed that they are aware of the ongoing problems via Android Authority and that “fixes are beginning to roll out.” Unfortunately, they didn’t say what caused the issue, but more reports started appearing after the Match update, and it could be the problem.
We recommend installing any new Android Auto update. You can check the Play Store, especially if you are facing connection issues with your device.
