Samsung appears to be preparing a wider rollout of the One UI 8.5 beta program, as not all eligible regions have received the update yet. Although the beta release has already begun, only four out of the six supported countries are currently live. Based on recent developments, the expansion to additional regions is expected to start this week.

Over the past few weeks, Samsung rolled out the One UI 8.5 beta update for the Galaxy S25 series. So far, users in the UK, South Korea, the US, and Germany have received the build. However, eligible users in other regions have been waiting, with no update available yet. New reports now suggest that Samsung is finally set to extend the beta program to these remaining countries.
One UI 8.5 Beta program Coming to More Regions
Samsung released the first One UI 8.5 beta build a few days ago, and as with previous beta programs, multiple test builds are expected before the stable version is finalized. While early adopters in the UK, South Korea, the US, and Germany are already testing the update, users in India and Poland are still awaiting access.
According to recent reports, Samsung will include these remaining regions in the second wave of the beta rollout. This means that when One UI 8.5 beta 2 begins rolling out in the initial regions, users in India and Poland are likely to receive the beta 1 update. The next phase of the rollout is expected to take place between December 22 and December 26.
This staggered release strategy is typical of Samsung’s beta programs and explains why stable updates are also rolled out in batches. That said, once the first beta build is released, the gap between beta and stable versions is usually not very long, and progress can move quickly.
