Samsung has begun rolling out the Galaxy S23 stable Android 16-based One UI 8 update. The rollout is exclusive to a few regions, but we expect expansion in the coming days.
Galaxy S23 is now receiving Android 16 with a stable One UI 8 build in Korea. The upgrade is limited to a few users to ensure the stability of the update before making it available to everyone. Hence, it might take a few days for the update to become available for your device.

Details of the Galaxy S23 stable Android 16-based One UI 8 update
Samsung is rolling out a stable build with a firmware version S93xNKSU5BY13 for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. The update is available for beta testers in a 450MB package, while those upgrading for the first time are getting a 3GB download size.
We have seen rollouts start in other regions a few days after the Korean release, and we hope the same with the latest release. Meanwhile, you can check for the update by heading to Settings> Software update> Download and Install. You will reboot your device to complete the installation once the download finishes.
The update brings new features and optimization. We recommend installing it when prompted to enjoy the new gestures for accessing quick controls in the camera app, the improved weather app design, and more.
