Samsung has now released the first Galaxy S25 FE One UI 8.5 beta update. The build has been limited to the Galaxy S25 series phones, but the Fan Edition models have just received their first beta build. It is expected to receive a few more before a stable release, especially since the flagship variants have recently received their 8th build.

The update is currently available in India and Korea, with expansion to the UK and the US expected soon. Unsurprisingly, the update size is a whopping 4.5GB, and we recommend installing over Wi-Fi. Additionally, back up your data to a save location before attempting the installation, as it’s still a beta build.
Meanwhile, you need to register using the Samsung Members app to receive the update. Sign in to the app with your Samsung account details, and search for the One UI 8.5 Beta Program banner and register your device. Once that’s done, head to Settings>>Software update>>Download and install, and you will see a new update. Tap Install now and follow the screen prompt to complete the installation.
