Samsung continues to prepare for the stable One UI 8 release with Beta 4 now available in more regions. The build has been available for a few weeks, but limited to certain countries. It is now available to more people, including those in the UK and India.
Samsung will start rolling out a stable Android 16-based One UI 8 update next month. The rollout will begin with the Galaxy S25 series, and it’s not surprising. It’s been over two months since the first beta build was released, and it was exclusive to the flagship phones until recently. With One UI 8 Beta 4, Samsung is a step closer to releasing the stable build.

Samsung released the update in a few countries, but has extended the rollout to the UK, India, and others. Perhaps it’s the last release, given the time it took the company to release it to additional countries. Unfortunately, you are never sure with beta builds, as things can go south early.
While the update is significant in terms of bug fixes and optimization, a notable tweak is missing from the changelog. The update offers bigger and bolder fonts for widgets. It will make information on these widgets easy to read at a glance. Meanwhile, it seems the company is still testing it, as some people have been complaining of inconsistency in the text alignment.
That’s probably the only issue reported thus far about the One UI 8 Beta 4 update. We recommend installing the update when prompted. If you are waiting for a prompt notification, you can do it manually via Settings>>System updates>>Download and Install.
