Xiaomi has so far only introduced HyperOS 3 in China, but signs indicate a global launch is forthcoming. The latest version of HyperOS is already in beta testing in its home market, and now Xiaomi has kicked off recruitment for the Global HyperOS 3 Beta preview.
The company confirmed the recruitment exercise via its official X account, inviting users to register for a chance to become early adopters of the upcoming OS.
What we know about the Global HyperOS 3 Beta recruitment
According to reports, Xiaomi may officially announce the global rollout on September 24. While the date is not yet confirmed, the new recruitment program strongly suggests preparations are underway. Xiaomi has not clarified if the portal is strictly for HyperOS 3 Beta applicants, but it’s expected that successful candidates will gain access to the global preview build.

Unlike before, applications are now handled exclusively through the Mi Community app. To apply, you’ll need an active account. Once logged in, navigate to:
Me >> Beta testing, then follow the on-screen steps to complete your registration.
Meanwhile, if you don’t see the Beta Testing tab in the Mi Community app, try switching your location to Global
- Open the Mi Community app and tap on ME
- Select Set up>>Change Region
- Select Global.
- You will be logged out. Just log in and try joining bata testing again. This time, you will be able to see the “Beta Testing” tab.
Although beta releases typically follow the global announcement, Xiaomi has a history of rolling them out earlier, just as it did with HyperOS 2. So, don’t be surprised if the update lands before the official unveiling.
What to expect
HyperOS 3 brings plenty of changes to Xiaomi, POCO, and Redmi devices. Highlights include:
- Dynamic Island-style feature is finally arriving
- Redesigned system icons, battery, and Wi-Fi indicators
- Smoother animations
- Up to 30% better performance compared to HyperOS 2
Stay tuned—we’ll keep you updated as soon as the rollout begins.
