Xiaomi has started rolling out the Global HyperOS 3 stable update. The release has been limited to a few Chinese phones, but the company is now expanding the rollout to international models. At the moment, only a few devices are receiving it, but Xiaomi plans to bring the upgrade to more models in the coming weeks.

The Xiaomi 15T series is among the first to receive the Android 16-based HyperOS 3 update. Both the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro originally shipped with HyperOS 2.2, and this new release brings them up to date with the latest versions of both HyperOS and Android. Currently, the rollout is limited to select users as part of an early testing phase before the wider public release.
Global HyperOS 3 stable release details
Xiaomi had already confirmed plans to begin the global rollout of HyperOS 3 this month, starting with the Xiaomi 15T series. As expected, the update is now available to a limited group of users. This staged rollout strategy, common with smartphone manufacturers, helps to identify and address potential bugs before a full-scale release.
Of more models are set to receive HyperOS 3 this October, including several mid-range devices. According to the official release plan, the Redmi Note 14 series will get the update in the coming days. Other eligible phones include the Xiaomi 15, POCO F7, and POCO X7 series.

What’s new in HyperOS 3
The new HyperOS 3 brings a fresh and refined user experience. Xiaomi has introduced redesigned app icons, updated battery and Wi-Fi indicators, and smoother system animations. One of the most exciting new additions is HyperIsland, alongside several other visual and functional enhancements that improve performance and usability.
