Xiaomi has been testing HyperOS 3 for a few weeks. The latest iteration of HyperOS has been exclusive to Chinese users, but the company is making plans for the international release. They already confirmed the global beta recruitment exercise, and now, the Indian HyperOS 3 Beta recruitment has been announced.
Before a new iteration of HyperOS is available to users, a closed group of people previews it. The exercise has been ongoing in China, while global testing will commence after the official announcement on September 24. Perhaps Indian HyperOS 3 Beta testing will start at the same time as the company has begun recruiting beta testers.
Details of the Indian HyperOS 3 Beta recruitment
Xiaomi has announced a beta recruitment exercise for Indian users. Only experienced and tech-savvy individuals with experience testing software are advised to join. The company has warned that the software “may be unstable, causing issues like data loss, app crashes, or system errors.” Only register if you can handle these problems, and also give feedback and “not leak features.”
Interestingly, Xiaomi will reward active testers with coupons and those who report real issues. Unfortunately, the company did not mention what would happen if things went wrong with your device during the beta preview. Nevertheless, we haven’t seen any bugs with the build, and hence, you might consider joining the beta program.
List of devices eligible for the Indian HyperOS 3 Beta recruitment
Xiaomi has limited testing to a few devices. We expect the company to expand the list once the preview starts. Currently, only Redmi Note 14 and Redmi Note 13 series phone users can join the beta program. Xiaomi 15, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, Xiaomi 14, and Xiaomi 14 CIVI are eligible. If you are using the Xiaomi Pad 7 and Redmi Pad 2, you can join the beta program.
