Samsung is not yet rolling out the stable One UI 8.5 build to older phones. The Galaxy S25 series phones began receiving a new beta update after the beta program was opened for more phones. We understand that more One UI 8.5 beta updates are planned, which will see the stable release start rolling out in the coming weeks.

More One UI 8.5 beta updates planned for the Galaxy S25 series phones
According to Tarun Vats, Samsung plans to release up to ten beta updates for the Galaxy S25 series. Considering each beta release takes a few weeks before a new one is released, we might wait for weeks before the stable build finally starts rolling out.
According to the report, the next beta build is likely to arrive on April 9th, and the 10th beta update is expected on April 20th. Perhaps it would be the end of the beta program, meaning a stable release could start before next month. The company has been consistent with its beta releases; hence, we believe the rumored release schedule will be followed.
While Samsung has yet to announce a stable release plan, we expect that once the Galaxy S25 series phones’ One UI 8.5 beta program is completed, other phones will jump to a stable build. We expect the Galaxy S25 FE, which joined the beta program a few days ago, to receive the stable build at the same time as the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra.
