Samsung has officially confirmed the release of stable One UI 8.5, alongside the launch of its next flagship smartphones.

    Stable One UI 8.5 Release

The company has announced that its next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place on February 25, where it will unveil the Galaxy S26 series. All models in the lineup will ship with stable One UI 8.5 out of the box, effectively confirming the public release of the software.

Samsung Teases a More Seamless Galaxy Experience

In its official teaser, Samsung shared the following message:

“Get ready for a mobile experience designed to remove friction from the things you do every day. The new Galaxy S series is coming – built to simplify everyday interactions, inspire confidence and make Galaxy AI feel seamlessly integrated from the moment it’s in hand.”

This suggests a strong focus on usability, AI integration, and system-level refinements with One UI 8.5.

The highlight of the event will be the introduction of:

    • Galaxy S26
    • Galaxy S26+
    • Galaxy S26 Ultra

All three devices will debut stable One UI 8.5, making them the first phones to officially run Samsung’s latest software. While several One UI 8.5 features have already surfaced through the beta program, Samsung is expected to introduce additional refinements and possibly exclusive features at launch.

What About the One UI 8.5 Beta Program?

So far, the One UI 8.5 beta has been limited to the Galaxy S25 series. Following the Galaxy S26 announcement, Samsung may:

    • Expand the beta program to more Galaxy devices, or
    • Begin rolling out the stable One UI 8.5 update directly to eligible phones

Either approach would align with Samsung’s typical software rollout strategy after a flagship launch.

    What to Expect Next

With the stable release now confirmed, more details about One UI 8.5 features, supported devices, and rollout timelines are expected to surface in the coming weeks.

Stay tuned for updates as Samsung prepares for one of its biggest launches of the year.
