The Galaxy S25 lineup is expected to be among the first to receive this update. With the official release only a few weeks away, it makes sense that internal testing is already underway. Public beta registration could still be a few weeks out, but Samsung is clearly making progress.

This confirms that the company has begun evaluating the build ahead of a wider rollout. That should change soon, as Samsung usually expands availability once initial checks are completed. One UI 8.5 isn’t expected to bring major visual changes, with most UI redesigns likely reserved for One UI 9.0—already in development and set to launch with Android 17.
