Samsung has officially started releasing the highly anticipated One UI 8.5 beta update. The rollout is currently limited to the Galaxy S25 series, and only select regions are receiving the beta at this early stage.


Early reports confirm that the One UI 8.5 beta is now live in parts of Europe and South Korea. Interested users will need to register for the beta program through the Samsung Members app. Once enrolled, the update can be downloaded by navigating to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
One UI 8.5 Beta Rollout Details
The first One UI 8.5 beta for the Galaxy S25 series comes with firmware version S93xNKSU7ZYL8 for South Korea. The package weighs 3929.23MB. While the full changelog is not yet available, it is expected to surface soon.
In Europe—specifically Germany—the update is also rolling out with firmware version S93xBXXU7ZYL8, measuring 4006.84MB. Users in the region can access it after registering for the beta program.
Samsung is expected to expand the rollout to more markets, including the UK and US, in the coming hours. Reports also indicate that India and Poland will be part of the second wave of the beta release.
