Samsung has officially begun previewing its next major One UI update. Just hours after rolling out the One UI 8.5 beta for the Galaxy S25 series, a new development suggests that the Galaxy A-series might also be part of the early preparations.

According to Tarun Vats, an internal One UI 8.5 build for the Galaxy A56 has appeared on Samsung’s servers. This is not a beta release but an internal testing build meant exclusively for developers. While its presence doesn’t confirm that the A56 will join the public beta program, it does indicate that the device is in line to receive the stable One UI 8.5 update.
Details of the One UI 8.5 Build for Galaxy A56
Samsung is already working on a One UI 8.5 beta build for the Galaxy A56. The internal version, identified as A566BXXU7CYL8, is currently limited to developer testing. With preparations underway, there’s hope that Samsung may open the beta program to the public in the coming weeks.
Interest in the One UI 8.5 update continues to grow, even though it doesn’t drastically change the interface. Samsung is focusing on meaningful improvements—including smoother animations, bug fixes, performance optimizations, and several new AI-powered features.
