Samsung has confirmed the One UI 8 stable release plan. Expected to start rolling out to eligible phones in the coming weeks, the Korean company has confirmed the order in which it will roll out the much-anticipated upgrade.

Samsung debuted the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 with stable One UI 8, making it the first phones to run the new OS. The Galaxy S25 series is next in line to receive the upgrade, which is now confirmed by a recent report. Aside from confirming the release to the latest S-series flagship, other phones have been confirmed to get the upgrade.
One UI 8 stable update release plans
Before the latest report, Samsung already confirmed it will start rolling out the stable One UI 8 in September, starting with the Galaxy S25 series. While we do not have an exact time for the release, we believe it will still take a couple of weeks before the update seeding, with One UI 8 Beta 6 in the works.
Samsung is said to be planning on rolling out a new Beta update, expected to be the last before a stable release. The build has been seen on the company’s servers, meaning it will start rolling out soon. Nevertheless, we know beta releases are not straightforward, and something might go wrong, hence delaying the release.
Thus far, there has not been a sign that the update will be delayed. The company is on course to release its product next month. We have seen a stable rollout in some regions, while others are previewing a beta build. That might be the case with the One UI 8 stable, but you should follow us to know when the rollout starts.
