POCO devices have yet to receive the HyperOS 3 update, mainly because the brand sales their phones only outside of China. However, that’s about to change, as the POCO F6 is expected to be among the first POCO phones to get the Android 16-based HyperOS 3 upgrade. New regional builds for the device have already appeared on Xiaomi’s update servers, suggesting the release is imminent.

The POCO F6 HyperOS 3 rollout is expected to begin next month. Still, Xiaomi has a history of releasing updates ahead of schedule, so an early rollout wouldn’t be surprising. The update is ready for several regions, with Global and European users likely to receive it first.
POCO F6 HyperOS 3 rollout details
As with every major update, Xiaomi starts with internal testing before extending the rollout to Mi Pilot testers. Typically, the stable public release follows about two weeks after the stable beta build goes live. Given that the POCO F6 is slated to receive its next major upgrade in November, the stable beta release could begin any moment.
Developers are already testing the build in multiple regions, including Taiwan (OS3.0.0.1.WNPTWXM), Russia (OS3.0.0.1.WNPRUXM), and Indonesia (OS3.0.0.1.WNPRUXM). Global and European builds are also confirmed to be in development.
While an exact release date hasn’t been confirmed, all indications suggest a November rollout. According to the official update plan, the POCO F6 is part of the second wave scheduled for next month. Stay tuned — and follow our Telegram channel for instant updates once the rollout begins.
