Xiaomi continues to expand the stable HyperOS 3 update to more eligible users. The Chinese company is now rolling out the POCO X7 stable HyperOS 3 update, a few hours after the Pro variant received the update. However, it’s a limited rollout, and only select users will get the upgrade for preview ahead of the public release.

Every major upgrade is released in phases to allow more people to preview the build and ensure there are no major issues. It’s been the reason many people have yet to upgrade to stable Android 16 with HyperOS 3. We expect a wider availability of the update soon, including the recently released POCO X7 stable HyperOS 3 update.
The update brings fascinating features, although some are from iOS, like the revamped App icon, battery, and Wi-Fi signal. Xiaomi has also replicated the Dynamic Island found on many iPhones, but calls theirs the HyperIsland. The idea is the same, which allows users to view their updates and follow live events.
Additionally, HyperOS 3 brings enhanced connectivity. You can now connect to an iPhone and other devices seamlessly. Thanks to the HyperConnect, Xiaomi devices, including cars, can have a stable connection. Of course, AI was among the new features, with the Xiao AI now advanced to perform more on-device tasks.
After downloading the POCO X7 stable HyperOS 3 update, you will notice new changes on the Gallery app. Also, the lock screen design has a new wallpaper and clock design. You can check the complete changes here.
Details of the POCO X7 stable HyperOS 3 update

A new Android security patch level is part of the package to enhance security and stability. Meanwhile, we recommend backing up your important data before installing the update, as it’s a cross-section Android upgrade.
While there has not been news about a major bug since the update started rolling out, it’s better safe. Hence, we recommend a backup as things might not go as planned during the installation.
