It has been over two months since Samsung started the One UI 8 Beta release but limited the availability to a few phones. The company has now revealed its plans to expand the rollout to other phones, including mid-range devices. These phones will get the upgrade in the coming weeks before a stable release.
Samsung has limited the One UI 8 Beta update to the Galaxy S25 series for a few months now. We knew since the release that it would arrive for more phones, and now, an official list has been released by the company, which also confirms when the stable release will commence.
Details of the One UI 8 Beta update expanding to more phones

Samsung will commence rolling out the One UI 8 Beta update to the Galaxy S24 series next week. The build will be available in India, South Korea, the UK, and the US. Additionally, the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Fold7 will receive the upgrade within this time frame. A few weeks after the initial release, Samsung will organize a beta program for mid-range phones.
- Galaxy Z Fold 6
- Galaxy Z Flip 6
- Galaxy S24 Ultra
- Galaxy S24+
- Galaxy S24
- Galaxy Z Flip 5
- Galaxy Z Fold 5
- Galaxy S23
- Galaxy S23+
- Galaxy S23 Ultra
- Galaxy S24
- Galaxy A35
- Galaxy A36
- Galaxy A54
- Galaxy A55
As with One UI 7, Galaxy S23 will join the One UI 8 Beta program as well as Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Z Fold5, and Galaxy A54. Other phones participating in the preview are the Galaxy A35 and Galaxy A55. We do not expect these phones to preview the build for months like the Galaxy S25, but long enough to confirm that everything works smoothly.
That said, we expect a stable build by the end of September, starting with the Galaxy S25 series. Given the time frame, we expect Samsung to complete the rollout by the end of the year, especially since they are also working on One UI 8.5.
