Samsung is moving closer to the stable release of One UI 8.5 with the rollout of Beta 4 for select Galaxy devices. The update is currently available for the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, marking another step toward the final build.
One UI 8.5 is expected to debut officially with the upcoming Galaxy S26 series, after which eligible Galaxy S25 models will receive the stable update. Until then, Samsung continues to refine the software through its ongoing beta program.

One UI 8.5 Beta 4 Availability
The One UI 8.5 Beta 4 update is currently limited to beta participants in South Korea, Germany, and India. For now, the beta remains exclusive to the Galaxy S25 lineup, and there’s no confirmation on whether additional Galaxy devices will join the program.
Samsung is expected to expand the rollout to more regions in the coming hours or days.
One UI 8.5 Beta 4 Update Details
Samsung’s latest beta build comes in at around 1.5GB and carries a firmware version ending in ZZAL. As expected at this stage of development, the update focuses on:
- Bug fixes
- Performance improvements
- Overall system stability
Fixed an issue where the clock on the lock screen moved down
Fixed an issue when clicking search history in the phone app
Resolved the problem where calls switch to the device under specific conditions while using a BT headset
Fixed an issue when pasting phone numbers into the keypad after clicking a call link
Fixed an issue where Al Select does not automatically close when “Copy” is selected
The update also includes the February 2026 Android security patch, making it an important install for users currently enrolled in the beta program.
How to Install the Update
If you’re part of the One UI 8.5 beta program and using an eligible Galaxy S25 device, you can check for the update by heading to:
Settings → Software update → Download and install
Users who are not enrolled in the beta program will need to wait for the stable One UI 8.5 release, which is expected to begin rolling out soon.
