A few weeks ago, Xiaomi officially introduced HyperOS 3 in China. The company initially rolled out beta builds to eligible users while confirming that the stable release would arrive in October. As promised, the stable HyperOS 3 update is now rolling out — currently limited to flagship models in China.
HyperOS 3 brings a fresh experience with several notable features and design changes. Xiaomi appears to have taken cues from Apple, especially with the introduction of HyperIsland, a feature similar to Apple’s Dynamic Island. The battery and signal indicators also feature an iOS-inspired design. However, for the first time, Xiaomi seems to have matched — or even surpassed — Apple in terms of animation smoothness and transitions.

The Gallery app also sees major improvements. It can now intelligently recognize up to 10 common categories, including food and landscapes, for faster and more relevant search results. In addition, users can now instantly create short videos from their favorite photos with a single tap.
Stable HyperOS 3 rollout details
The stable update is currently available for the following flagship devices in China:

Xiaomi 15 — OS3.0.2.0.WOCCNXM
Xiaomi 15 Pro — OS3.0.3.0.WOBCNXM
Xiaomi 15S Pro — OS3.0.4.0.WODCNXM
Xiaomi 15 Ultra — OS3.0.2.0.WOACNXM
Redmi K80 Pro — OS3.0.2.0.WOMCNXM
Redmi K80 Ultra — OS3.0.2.0.WONCNXM
The rollout is currently exclusive to Chinese users, but Xiaomi is expected to begin the global rollout next week. Owners of the listed models can check for the update using the Updater app. Those who prefer stability may want to wait for early feedback before proceeding with installation.
Wider and global availability
Xiaomi plans to expand the stable HyperOS 3 rollout to more regions in the coming days. Most Xiaomi and Redmi models — including the Redmi Note 14 series — are expected to receive the Android 16-based HyperOS 3 update later this month.
