
Google has started rolling out the August 2025 security patch for Pixel phones. It’s a global release, meaning all eligible devices are getting the update. It comes with a few bug fixes, system optimization, and security enhancements.

We understand the Pixel 6, Pixel 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, Pixel Tablet, Pixel Fold, Pixel 8, Pixel 8 Pro, Pixel 8a, Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9a, Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel 9 Pro Fold are all receiving the update.
As usual, Google has addressed some security vulnerabilities with three on the patch dated 2025-08-0 and three for 2025-08-05. These flaws range from high to critical. There is one additional security fix on the dedicated bulletin for Google devices.

The update is rolling via OTA and should be available on your device already. Head to Settings>>System>>System update. Follow the screen prompt to download the update and reboot your device to complete the installation.
