Xiaomi POCO F6 might not be a gaming phone, but it debuted with a capable chipset and other features. Hence, it can play the most demanding games on Android with all gaming enhancements enabled. Unfortunately, many people have reported that they are unable to play PUBG at 120fps on the POCO F6. It seems more of a bug than an issue with the device, and the company has acknowledged and is addressing it.
As Xiaomi continues to release new updates for its phones, it can sometimes come with bugs. The issue of users being unable to play PUBG on the POCO F6 seems to have started after a recent update. Three regions are experiencing the problem, and Indian users who recently received a new upgrade are also affected.
Details of users unable to play PUBG at 120fps

PUBG is a popular mobile game with over 500 million downloads on the Play Store. Aside from the graphics, there are other enhancements for a better gaming experience. One of these is the ability to play the game at 120fps. It makes gaming smoother, but it seems to have broken, unfortunately.
We cannot say what happened or when it started, but everything points to a recent upgrade. The issue affects POCO F7 devices runningĀ OS2.0.104.0.VNPINXM, OS2.0.105.0.VNPINXM, OS2.0.200.0.VNPINXM(Beta State).
Xiaomi has acknowledged the bug and is currently analysing it. They are also in communication with the game development teams to find the best solution. Depending on when a fix is ready, it will either come in a software update or a game update. Hence, ensure your device is running the latest software update and your PUBG game does not have a pending update.
Meanwhile, other Xiaomi phones are having difficulties playing games at 120fps. We understand POCO X7 Pro and POCO X6 Pro users are facing the same challenges. They cannot see the 120fps on their gaming settings, even though their device is capable. Hopefully, a new update arrives soon to address these issues.
