A few weeks ago, Samsung confirmed plans to expand the One UI 8 Beta program to more phones. On the list is the Galaxy A36, and while the rollout has yet to start, we might not wait much longer, as the build has now been spotted on the server
Details of the Galaxy A36 One UI 8 Beta build

Samsung organizes a Beta program for its latest iteration of One UI for select A-series phones. Fortunately for Galaxy A36 users, their device will participate in the One UI 8 Beta testing. As confirmed by the company, the first release is expected in September. With the recent development, the company is on course to roll out the update next month.
According to a recent report, a Galaxy A36 One UI 8 Beta build has appeared on the servers with firmware version A366EXXU4ZYH3. It means the company has started working on the build, perhaps developers are already testing it. We expect to see it next month, but only eligible users will be allowed to install it.
Samsung restricts the beta program to a few regions. It seems only some parts of Europe, South Korea, India, and the US are allowed to participate in the preview. Of course, living in these countries doesn’t mean automatic eligibility; you must register to be considered.
Meanwhile, we expect a short beta program for the Galaxy A36. After spending months testing the build for the Galaxy S25, we do not anticipate the same time to be dedicated to the Galaxy A36. You should bookmark our page for when the update becomes available.
