Google released the Pixel 10 series yesterday with the Google Camera 10. It is the biggest camera upgrade we have seen from the tech company, weighing a massive 1GB. Perhaps it’s their biggest upgrade, with many new additions surrounding Gemini AI, which is now fully integrated to help you take a better shot.
As usual with a new Pixel release, it brings a new camera app, which is later rolled out to older Pixel phones. With the Google Camera 10, the company has made massive improvements. It seems they have users in mind by introducing new features that will help make each shot a great experience. Additionally, the integration of Gemini AI makes things even better.
Details and features of Google Camera 10

Google’s latest camera app is exclusive to the Pixel 10 series phones. It will be available on the Google Play Store soon, while we expect developers to work on Gcam mods. Perhaps it will take some time to achieve this, as there are many features requiring high resources. Also, we do not think Google will make this update available for some older Pixel phones.
Regarding the Features of Google Camera 10, it’s primarily an AI-driven aspect. Almost all the new features have been achieved with the use of AI, including the Camera Coach.
Camera Coach: It helps users take better shots by suggesting creative compositions, optimal lighting techniques, and shooting approaches.

Pro Res Zoom: Thanks to the Tensor G5, Pixel phones can get detailed images at about 100x zoom. Unfortunately, only the Pixel 10 XL and Pixel 10XL Pro have this feature.
Auto Best Take: Perfect for group photos, as it identifies when people in the photo are at their best.
Advance HDR+ and Portrait: There have been some improvements. They include optimized color accuracy, improved focus system, better detail retention, and Superior noise reduction.
Guided Frame Enhancement: With the help of Gemini models, Guided Frame now provides a more detailed scene description for blind users or those with visual impairment.
Other features are: Natural Language Photo Editing, Enhanced Panorama Capabilities, Instant View on select phones, and Content Credential Integration. You can visit the source link for the complete changes and additions.
While it seems the Material 3 Expressive Design has yet to arrive, Google is working on the introduction. Perhaps it will arrive with subsequent updates. We understand the buttons, camera app Settings panel, icon, and switches will adopt the element.
Download Google Camera app 10 APK
Google Camera app version 10.0.081.790960413.20 for download. Unfortunately, you need Android 16 or later to run the update smoothly. It’s possible that only the Pixel 10 series can install the update for now, which is available on the Play Store.
Meanwhile, some websites like APK Mirror have uploaded the APK file, and you can download it from there. Unfortunately, Gcam 10 mods are not yet available for download. It will take time for developers to come up with one, given all the AI features that need to be integrated. Only Pixel 10 users can install the app, and you can download it via this link.
