Samsung has started rolling out the Galaxy S24 One UI 8 Beta 2 update. It’s a follow-up to the last build to address issues reported by those previewing the build. With Galaxy S25 on One UI 8 Beta 6, we expect more beta builds for the S24 series, although it might not reach 6.
The Galaxy S24 series is one step closer to receiving the stable One UI 8. It will introduce Android 16 alongside loads of other features. We understand the latest beta build is available in multiple regions, while introducing a new AI feature that debuted with the Galaxy S25 series.

Details of the Galaxy S24 One UI 8 Beta 2 update
Samsung is rolling out a build with firmware version S928BXXU4ZYHB in the UK. The update size is 930 MB and includes the September 2025 security patch to enhance security. We understand the rollout has also gone live in India, but with a different software version (S928BXXU4ZYHB).
One of the notable additions is the Now Brief feature. It debuted with the Galaxy S25 series. The work is to show information relevant to users throughout the day at that point in time. Samsung has designed it to display upcoming calendar events, favorite music playlists from Spotify and YouTube Music, YouTube video recommendations, relevant Samsung Health statistics, and weather alerts.
