Xiaomi might be preparing for the release of the stable HyperOS 3 update, but it is still giving attention to the predecessor. Following the POCO F5 charging issue that was widely reported in the last few days, the company has released a new update to address the problem.
POCO F5 users started reporting an issue with charging not being consistent after a recent update. A problem seems to affect all devices. As always, Xiaomi promised to resolve it, and with the latest update, the company has fixed the “intermittent charging” issue.

Details of the POCO F5 Charging issues fix
According to the latest Xiaomi weekly bug report, the problem affects those in Indonesia, India, Europe, and the Global ROM. You can check the build number before.
OS2.0.204.0.VMRIDXM, OS2.0.204.0.VMRMIXM, OS2.0.204.0.VMRINXM, OS2.0.205.0.VMREUXM
If you are running any of the affected builds, a new update is waiting at the Updater app. After installing the update, you will start experiencing more stable charging. Meanwhile, if you have adaptive charging enabled, you probably cannot get your device to charge past 80%. Hence, ensure you do not have such before assuming the update didn’t fix the bug.
