Xiaomi is planning the release of the Redmi Note 14 HyperOS 3 Beta update. The company has so far limited the rollout to Chinese users, but will soon expand the availability to global users.
HyperOS 3 is still exclusive to beta testers but will soon expand to stable users. Perhaps that will see the upgrade start rolling out for the global users, and it seems the Redmi Note 14 series will be among the few to receive the upgrade.
Details of the Redmi Note 14 HyperOS 3 Beta update

According to a recent report, Xiaomi will soon release the HyperOS 3 Beta update for the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G, and Redmi Note 14. Internal testing has started for these devices in different regions, including Global and European users. Of course, the Chinese build is also in the works, as well as Indonesia, Turkey, and Russia.
Unfortunately, we do not have a timeframe for when the update will start rolling out. However, Xiaomi has always released a new OS to the Redmi Note series phone before some of its flagship devices. That was the case with Redmi Note 13, which upgraded to HyperOS 2 before some premium phones.
Meanwhile, the features are never the same, as mid-range phones often receive a toned-down version of a new OS. With HyperOS 3 prioritizing AI, Redmi Note 14 series users will be missing out on a few features due to the resources required for them to function.
Nonetheless, the update will improve performance on these phones, with a report suggesting a 30% increase. Additionally, there will be bug fixes, system optimization, and security enhancements. Animation and smoother visual transitions are in the card.
