Samsung has started rolling out the Galaxy S25 Edge One UI 8 stable update. It’s the first of the seven guaranteed Android OS updates. The update is available in select regions, but we expect more countries to start getting the upgrade in the coming days.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge is receiving the much-anticipated Android 16 upgrade in South Korea. At the time of the report, Samsung had only released the update in the region. Expectation is that the rollout will expand to more countries in the next hours; perhaps you should check for the update. Meanwhile, Galaxy S25 users are currently getting the upgrade both beta and non beta testers.

Details of Galaxy S25 Edge One UI 8 stable update

Samsung is rolling out a stable build with a firmware version S937NKSU2BYI3. The update size is 3441.50MB. We already know the features coming to the S25 Edge with the latest release, including Now Brief and some other AI-powered features. Additionally, the update brings the September 2025 security patch, and we recommend installing it when prompted to boost your device security.

Meanwhile, it’s the first cross-section Android update being delivered to the device. A few apps have yet to adapt to the new OS and might misbehave, causing some glitches. It is necessary to back up your important data before proceeding with the installation.
