Samsung moves a step closer to the stable One UI 8 release for the Galaxy A55. The South Korean company has started the Beta 2 release. It is limited to a few regions, but we anticipate a wider availability in the coming days.
With the stable One UI 8 rollout started for the Galaxy S25 series, it won’t be long before other devices join the rollout. The Galaxy A55 is already confirmed to receive the upgrade, and with beta 2 now available, we anticipate the stable build in the next few weeks.

Samsung is rolling out a new beta update for the Galaxy A55 users. The update size is 332.39 MB and has a firmware version A556EXXUAZYI7. It comes with bug fixes, optimization, and a new security patch to enhance security. We recommend installing the update if you are on the first beta, and remember to back up your important data before.
Bugs that have been fixed
- Fixed auto-complete behavior error when entering a password
- Fixed zoom operation error in Magnitier specific section
- Correction of terminal ringtone occurrence error
- Fixed the cover screen dimming operation error when the timer operation
- Fixed flickers/splash issues when Zoom is changed
- Fixed CP crashes
To install the update, which affects these fixes, head to Settings>>System updates>>Download and Install. Follow the screen prompt to complete the installation by rebooting your device after completing the download.
