Xiaomi has acknowledged the Wi-Fi connection issues being reported by POCO F7 users. The problem had started after a recent upgrade, but it seems exclusive to a few regions. As usual, the company has started making progress to resolve the issue.

The POCO F7 Wi-Fi connection problems are limited to European ROM users. We understand all models are affected according to the latest HyperOS weekly bug report. However, only if you are on the latest build released some days ago. You might want to avoid any updates and wait for HyperOS 3.
Details of POCO F7 Wi-Fi connection issues
POCO F7 recently got an upgrade to OS 2.0.206.VOLEUXM, and soon after installation, many people started noticing issues with their Wi-Fi. According to reports, when the Wi-Fi connects, it does not work and disconnects automatically. The company is still analyzing the bug, but has provided a temporary solution while they work on a fix.
According to Xiaomi, “ Reconnecting to Wi-Fi or granting ‘Notification’ permissions to the app may resolve the problem.” If you are experiencing any issues with your Wi-Fi connection on the POCO F7, we recommend trying out this fix. Additionally, follow us on Telegram to know when a new update is available.
Another step to try is resetting network settings under Settings>Connection & Sharing. Hopefully, one of these solutions will resolve the problem. The last solution is to wait for a fix build from Xiaomi, which might arrive as part of HyperOS 3.
