Google has started rolling out a new Android 16 QPR3 Beta update, just days after the initial release. The new build, labeled Android 16 QPR3 Beta 1.1, arrives as a hotfix to address serious issues reported by beta testers.

Shortly after the rollout of Android 16 QPR3 Beta 1, users began reporting that several apps were crashing immediately on startup. Due to the severity of the issue—and the fact that it affected all eligible Pixel devices—Google moved quickly to release a fix instead of waiting weeks for a follow-up build.
Android 16 QPR3 Beta 1.1: What’s New?
The new update comes with firmware version CP11.251114.007, replacing the previous .006 build. While this is a minor release, it delivers an important fix for affected users.

(Issue #470144317, Issue #470214834)
The OTA update size is approximately 57.80MB on the Pixel 9a. As expected, this build does not introduce new features and is focused entirely on stability improvements.
The update is based on the December 2025 security patch.
