Samsung has begun expanding the AirDrop support via Quick Share to more regions. The support, which is currently exclusive to the Galaxy S26 series phones, has now arrived in more countries. Before now, only those in South Korea had received it, but you can install the new Galaxy S26 update and start sharing files with an Apple iPhone.

Details of the new Galaxy S26 update that brings Airdrop support

The new Galaxy S26 update is live in India, and we believe other countries have also started receiving it. It comes with a firmware version S94xBXXU1AZCF and weighs about 868MB. Only two changes appeared on the changelog, which are: “Overall stability of functions improved” and “The security of your device has been improved,” but there are more under the hood.

After installing the latest Galaxy S26 update, go to Quick Share settings and enable the option labeled “Share with Apple devices.” Once enabled, you can send files to Apple devices, including iPhone and Mac Mini. Of course, it works flawlessly.

Additionally, you can send files from your iPhone, iPad, or MacBook to Samsung Galaxy phones now. However, only S26 series phones are compatible, but we believe expansion to other models is in the works.
