Google plans to release a stable Android 17 update in May, and hence, started the beta program earlier than usual. The build has been limited to Pixel owners since it started rolling out, but that has now changed. We understand the OPPO Android 17 Beta 2 update is ready for the Find X9 Pro. Interestingly, the build is available for multiple regions but exclusive to developers and enthusiasts.

OPPO Find X9 Pro Android 17 update is currently available for multiple regions. Currently, those in India, Malaysia, Thailand, and Indonesia can install the build, for which a link to download it has been provided by the company, using the source link. However, there are a few things you need to know before proceeding with the installation.
The build is based on Google’s Android 17 Beta 2 and uses the latest GMS package. It means some original apps that overlap with GMS won’t carry over. Additionally, installing this build might brick your device. Ensure you understand what you are doing before attempting, and remember to back up your files, as everything will be wiped out once you complete the installation.
How to back up your data on ColorOS 16
- Go to Settings → Additional settings → Back up & migrate → Local backup → New backup → Done.
- Your backup will be saved to: Device storage/Android/data/com.coloros.backuprestore/Backup
- Copy those files to another device. This is critical: remember, the install wipes your phone completely. If your backup only lives on the phone, it will also be erased.
