It has taken until now for the first POCO phone to receive the much-anticipated upgrade. The sub-brand was tipped to start rolling out the update last month, but that didn’t happen. Nevertheless, the POCO F7 Ultra stable HyperOS 3 update is available for select users, and you can install it now.

POCO is limiting the first wave of the rollout to those enrolled in the Mi Pilot program. We expect the preview to take a few weeks, and depending on the feedback, Xiaomi will decide whether to initiate a public rollout or halt the release.
Details of the POCO F7 Ultra stable HyperOS 3 update
POCO F7 is receiving a stable HyperOS 3 update in Europe. It is exclusive to a select few users for preview, and you can identify the build by its software version, OS3.0.3.0.WOMEUXM. The update size is approximately 6.8 GB, and you will likely need a fast Wi-Fi connection to complete the installation.
The update introduces several new features and improvements. Xiaomi has revamped the Battery and Wi-Fi signal indicators, giving them a fresh look. A notable addition is HyperIsland, inspired by Appleās Dynamic Island, designed to enhance notification management. As expected, the update also includes various bug fixes, system optimizations, and security enhancements.
After installing the update, your OS moves to Android 16 while the security patch level goes to October 2025. You can head to the Updater App to check for the update, and remember to back up your important data before proceeding with the installation.
