Samsung will start rolling out the stable One UI 8.5 update later this month. As expected, the company has released the One UI 8.5 Beta 10 build, marking the end of the beta program. The next release for the Galaxy S25 series phones should be the stable build.

Galaxy S25 series phones have been previewing One UI 8.5 beta before it was opened for more devices. With the stable build in sight for the flagship phone, we expect other devices eligible for the update to start receiving it once the rollout commences for the S25 series. Meanwhile, if you are part of the beta program, we recommend installing the new release as it comes with many bug fixes.
Details of the Galaxy S25 One UI 8.5 Beta 10 update
The update is rolling out with firmware version S93xBXXU9ZZD and weighs about 939MB. According to the changelog, the build is based on Android 16 and the April 2026 security patch. Additionally, there are loads of bug fixes, including the issue with incoming calls appearing late or showing a black screen. You can see the complete bugs fixed below.

If you are part of the beta program for the One UI 8.5 build, you can install it via Settings>>Software update>>Download and install. Follow the screen prompt to complete the installation after rebooting your device. Meanwhile, ensure to back up your data before proceeding with the installation.
