Xiaomi is still working on upgrading several devices to Android 16 with HyperOS 3, and the Xiaomi 13 series is next in line. Launched in 2022 with Android 13, the Xiaomi 13 series is eligible for four major Android updates. It has already received two, making Android 16 the third. The device is also expected to get Android 17 eventually, but the first step is installing the upcoming HyperOS 3 update.
